Conduct and Discipline

IBA administration enforces discipline and high standards of education. Students of IBA are required to discern themselves, by maintaining exemplary conduct towards other fellow students, faculty and the college staff.

A student found lacking in pleasant behavior, unbecoming of professional scholar, in the classroom or in the institute premises will be given a strict warning. Nevertheless, if he fails to comply with the institute's code of conduct, and remains indifferent to the warning, he will be dismissed from the Institute's roll.

Class Attendance Policy

Students should necessarily attend every lecture & laboratory session of each course in which they enrolled. The students are required to have an attendance of 75% for each course. Students not adhering to the class attendance policy will be refrained from appearing in the examination, and they will be given F grade in the course. All 'absences' must be supported by a permission of leave. A maximum of two leaves will be approved in a given subject. A student is automatically dropped if he misses 25% of classes in a given course.
